A FEAST

Before I made it home last night, a very hungry Meena had called in a couple snacks from one of our neighborhood Mexican spots, La Palapa. To get the evening started, she called in:
- guacamole
- salsa
- shrimp ceviche

The salsa and guacamole were both quite delicious but the ceviche was borderline offensive. I'm not sure what they were thinking. The only thing that really came through were green olives and capers. The whole thing smelled and tasted of those two items. Definitely never getting that again.

Because the salsa and guac were so good, we didn't really need much dinner, so we figured, why not a couple pizzettas to just sorta cruise on out of dinner time?

Pizzetta #1 - Barbecue Shrimp:
- pineapple
- barbecue sauce
- shrimp (cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper)
- sautéed onions
- mozzarella
- mixed greens
- flour tortilla

Pizzetta #2 - Creamy Barbecue Shrimp:
- pineapple
- barbecue sauce
- shrimp (cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper)
- sautéed onions
- sour cream
- black pepper
- mixed greens
- flour tortilla

Pizzetta #3 - Mediterranean Barbecue Shrimp:
- red onion
- barbecue sauce
- shrimp (cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper)
- feta cheese
- black pepper
- mixed greens
- flour tortilla

All the pizzettas were good (mostly because none of them were very different), but I think I may have enjoyed the Mediterranean one the best. I was afraid Meena wouldn't eat the feta, but she actually liked it as well!

On to Virginia for a wedding. We may be able to post while we're gone. Maybe not.
