RAINY DAY MISHMASH

New York was disgusting today. It has been raining (hard!) all day long. I even heard thunder a while ago. And anyone who has ever walked around in NYC when it's pouring knows there are few places on earth more disgusting. There are puddles. It smells. Usually your umbrella gets blown around and inverted. Horrible.

So to combat that misery, we decided to go with some really simple comfort food. Sandwiches, soup and a couple extras. Nothing better.

The sandwich featured:
- micro greens
- whole wheat bread
- homemade mustard
- mayo
- sambal oelek
- black forest ham
- hickory smoked turkey

Meena also heated up some delicious creamy tomato soup from one of those fancy paper box soup containers. It's funny that for some reason, the paper box is considered high end. Cans are so five minutes ago. Seriously.

To make sure I was totally fat by the end of this one, I also heated up the leftover crabcake from last night's dinner and threw on a side of seaweed salad from Gracefully. Man. I love seaweed salad. It's amazing.

Excellent little Sunday dinner. Perfect for rainy nights at home with Meena and Tony Soprano.
