ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!

ATTENTION: WE HAVE A NEW FAVORITE BAR. IT IS CALLED BLACK MOUNTAIN WINE HOUSE. WE WILL BE GOING THERE ALL THE TIME. THANK YOU.

Seriously, we have a new favorite bar. Last night we decided to swing down by the Black Mountain Wine House and see what the buzz was about. Rumor had it they wanted to make this thing feel all cozy and relaxed with Adirondack chairs on the porch and nice little eats to go with their wine selection (Note: photo from A Brooklyn Life).

Turns out the rumors were true. Everything was perfect. From the music and the food to the cozy setting and the amazing wine, we were completely sold the second we walked in. When the Hall and Oates album came on, we knew there was no turning back. Ever.

Meena had a glass of prosecco and Alec had "Shane's pick" from the red side of the menu. Both were delicious.

For the food, we went with a pressed sandwich with tons of peppers, meats, cheeses and wonderful chutney. It was all spicy and filling and delicious. Meena found some of the meats a little fatty, but that never bothers me.

Our second plate (pictured above) was a nice little cold cut plate with some bread, olives and fancy mustard. Again, some were a touch fatty for Meena, but loved every bite.

This place is amazing. I can't wait to go back.
